Serum amylase is an enzyme which is used for catalyzing of the hydrolisis of starch. It catalyzes starch into simple compounds. Serum amylaze is naturally found in animals and plants. It can be stated that serum amylase is a name for group of enzymes which are used for catalysing hydrolysis into sugar. Which is then used to produce carbohydrate derivatives. Serum amylase is found in grains, vegetables, bacterias and etc.
